When I first started in this business 30 years ago, I thought all I had to do was show a house. Boy, did I get that wrong! Starting at square one with showing a house, the process takes us through negotiations, inspections, mortgage financing, repairs (or not), moving dates, closing dates, plus all the ups and downs of finding the right home for my client. I find this business involving, challenging and very gratifying. The best times are the coffee breaks with past clients in their now un-packed houses, settled in and planning to do more, listening to other people's dreams and seeing those dreams become reality. How much better does it get? I like working on projects that feature young musical talent and musical shows which raise funds for schools and churches. My degrees are in teaching and performing but my real performance work is producing a successful home sale for my clients. Experience accounts for something but experiencing dedication to excellence accounts for everything.
