I have had several special companions. One, was a Yorkshire Terrior. Then I had two very distinguished looking Minature Schnauzer's. I now have my brother's little Shih Tzu who has taken up permanent residence with me. His name is Shiraz. Yep, you got it right ~ he is named after a special kind of wine. Shiraz has been excellent medicine for me with my chronic depression. He makes me laugh at something everyday. I am particularly pleased that I have a brother still living who encourages me as often as possible. I also have some very dear friends who are there for me when I need them.
