Used car dealer misled customers, agrees to $35 million settlement with California

• The lawsuit which was initially filed in 2019 found that Paul Blancos Good Car Company put out deceptive radio and television advertisements targeting predominantly low-income consumers promising easy approval for unrealistically low interest rates to bring consumers to its dealerships.the largest and most important purchases many families make, Bonta stated in the release. While Paul Blancos claimed to be a good car company, in reality they were in the business of putting Californians at risk, using deceitful advertising and illegal sales and lending practices.
