Abstract:

A disposable surgical device is constructed to include a shell, a smart block mounted in one end of the shell, the smart block electronic having components mounted to a circuit embedded therein, front contact pins for insertion into respective contact holes in the connector of an industry standard connector interface, and rear wire terminal points, a medical treatment terminal installed in the other side of the shell and adapted for performing surgery and treatments, and a flex circuit termination electrically connected between the smart block and the medical treatment terminal, the flex circuit termination having embedded conductor lines respectively connected to the medical treatment terminal and wire terminal points at the ends of the conductor lines respectively soldered to the wire terminal points of the smart block.

Abstract:

A motorcycle mileage counter inductor is constructed to include a magnetic device holder mounted in the outer end of the tubular color of the wheel set of a motorcycle's front wheel, an annular magnetic device mounted on the magnetic device holder, the annular magnetic device having a plurality of magnets alternatively abutted against one another in reversed directions, and a sensor formed of a Hall chip and mounted in a cover shell being affixed to the front fork of the motorcycle around the outer end of the tubular collar and electrically connected to the mileage counter and ABS (anti-locking brake system) of the motorcycle through a signal line for detecting the amount of rotation of the motorcycle's front wheel and providing a signal indicative of the amount of rotation of the motorcycle's front wheel to the mileage counter and ABS of the motorcycle.

Methods and apparatus, including computer program products, to rasterize an image by generating assignments and allocating the assignments among multiple processor threads such that no two processor threads are rasterizing concurrently into overlapping regions of a pixel array. Multiple assignments are generated. Each assignment specifies one or more graphics objects and a region of the pixel array into which the specified graphics objects are to be rasterized. Multiple processes are established for rasterizing objects into a pixel array. Each process is operable to receive an assignment and to rasterize the objects of the assignment into the region of the assignment. Assignments are selected for concurrent execution by processes so that no two selected assignments have overlapping regions. Abstract:

A method and a system allow presentation of web pages to an internet appliance (e. g. , a hand-held computer, a mobile telephone, or a digital personal assistant) according to user preferences. The user preferences are captured by a management server, which provides a web page customization service in conjunction with a document manager, which parses the web pages to identify information units. The customized web pages are stored in a database using a standardized hypertext document representation device, such as XML. The customized web pages are accessible from a portal adapted for accessing by the internet appliance. In one implementation, the user is also offered pre-configured resources for frequently used services when accessing the portal using the internet device.

Abstract:

A low noise clock oscillator in standard surface mount plastic or ceramic form. With the same soldering pads design such devices can be replace with a convention standard surface mount clock oscillator to reduce Electro-magnetic Interference or RFI (Radio Frequency Interference) without redesign of the main board. The oscillator is characterized by using a spectrum spread clock generator and a spread controller on an elevated platform to reduce common mode emission currents.
