Abstract:

A system, a method, and computer-readable media are provided for altering behavior of software based on detection of an Internet connection. The system, method, and media detect when a computer has connected to the Internet or is capable of connecting to the Internet. This detection may include analyzing a connection history of the computer to the Internet, reporting in real-time when the computer establishes a connection to the Internet, or attempting to actively establish a connection with an Internet resource using the computer. A first set of software functionality may be disabled when a previously established connection with the Internet is identified, a real-time report of a connection with the Internet is generated, or a connection with the Internet resource is established. In addition, a second set of software functionality may be enabled when the first set of software functionality is disabled.

Abstract:

A device discharges fragrance during the dispensing of toilet seat covers generally includes a retainer for holding the toilet seat covers and at least one scent reservoir. The scent reservoir is disposed in the inside of the retainer and in contact with the toilet seat covers. At least one opening is also disposed in the retainer and defines an opening for dispensing the seat covers and discharging fragrance.In the process of usage of the seat cover, a user removes the seat cover from the retainer by pulling the seat cover through the opening. The pulling of the seat cover creates friction on the scent reservoir and enables the fragrance particles to be released. The fragrance air flows out from the opening with the seat cover and disburses scented air into the ambient air.

Abstract:

A method for forming a homogeneous, concentrated, prepolymer composition, and a method of using the concentrated prepolymer composition to uniformly coat fibers is described. The prepolymer mixture is formed by dissolving a dialkyl, trialkyl, or tetraalkylester of biphenyltetracarboxylic acid in a solvent comprising ethyl acetate and methanol in a molar ratio of from about 1:3 to about 1:60, to form an ester solution. Diamine and end cap compound are added to the ester solution to form a monomer mixture solution. The end cap compound is a divalent compound characterized by (i) at least one unsaturated moiety, (ii) capable of reacting with the diamine or the ester to form an end cap radical that precludes further reaction of the diamine with the ester, and (iii) capable of undergoing addition polymerization. A portion of the solvent is evaporated from the monomer solution to form the substantially homogeneous, concentrated, prepolymer composition. The concentrated prepolymer composition is used to uniformly coat fibers by heating the composition to an elevated temperature to form a prepolymer melt and applying the prepolymer melt to fibers.
