Originally from New Jersey, Paul DeSantis relocated to Florida in 1992 and currently lives in downtown Sarasota. A graduate of the University of Central Florida with a bachelors degree in biology, Paul initially planned to attend medical school until he became enamored with real estate. In 2005, he began his career as a full-time Realtor, working with RE/Max Palm Realty for six yearsthe last two as a broker/owner. In this role, Paul has garnered recognition for his exceptional production. He has sold over 350 properties located from Sarasota to Punta Gorda, which resulted in over $30 million in lifetime sales. In addition to managing a company, he also built The Platinum Team, a five-person sales team in which he trained and mentored each team member. Paul has been a multi-million dollar producer every year to date, receiving awards from the Punta Gorda, Port Charlotte and North Port board and numerous awards from RE/Max International.Paul is a member of the Young Professionals of Sarasota, and is active with the Rise Together program with the YMCA, which helps mentor troubled teens. Pauls biggest passion is playing ice hockey, as he actively plays numerous times a week at the Ellenton Ice Arena and is a huge Tampa Bay Lightning fan. In his spare time, he enjoys painting, playing acoustic guitars, cooking, playing soccer and distance running with the Manasota Track Club and other race organizations.
