Abstract:

The design and performance of an analog cancellation system is presented. The system generates either narrow or wideband nulls in order to minimize the effect of interfering signals on a receiver. A microcontroller directs the detection and classification of the interfering signal relative to frequency, amplitude and modulation, such as pulse-width or continuous wave modulation. A sampled version of the interfering signal at frequency, fi, is phase-inverted, amplified, and vector-summed with the input signal stream to null the interfering signal at fi. The microcontroller also monitors and adjusts the cancellation systems circuit parameters to minimize any residual interfering signal at fi or respond to changes in the interference. The example system operates from 100-160 MHz, and can generate wideband nulls over a 5MHz bandwidth with a 15dB depth attenuation or narrowband nulls with a Q greater than 200, and with a null depth greater than 30dB.

An exemplary system for providing remote deletion of contact information includes a first device associated with a first user. The first device is configured to generate and send a delete request message to a second device. In some embodiments, the delete request message includes a request to delete contact information for the first user from the second device. The second device can be configured to receive the delete request message and delete the first user's contact information. A method for providing remote deletion of contact information includes a delete request message being generated at a first device, associated with a first user. The delete request message can include a request to delete contact information for the first user. The first device can send the delete request message to a second device. The delete request message can instruct the second device to delete the first user's contact information.

Abstract:

A system provided herein permits a communications network subscriber to establish a local contact database on at least one communications device. The local contact database can communicate with a global contact database to receive contact information updates for a group of subscribers stored within the local contact database. The contact information can include basic contact information, such as name, address, email address, and telephone number. The contact information can also include advanced contact information, such as registration and activity information for each communications device associated with the group of subscribers, location information, hotspot information, points of interest information, and social networking information. Methods are provided herein that permit subscribers to introduce each other and obtain contact information securely. Methods are also provided herein that permit subscribers to request further contact information after a communication session is terminated.

The present disclosure provides various systems and methods for providing enhanced messaging features. An exemplary method for providing a predictive response messaging feature includes receiving a message from a first device () at a second device () and analyzing the message to determine at least one response option based upon the content of the message. After determining at least one response option, the at least one response option can be presented on a display () of the second device (). A called party can make a selection of one of the at least one response options and the selection can be received on the second device (). A foldable sawhorse is disclosed having a main set of leg members with a beam across the upper edges thereof, and a shorter, supporting set of leg members pivotally secured to the main leg members. Abstract:

An improved articulated bed having a main mattress support, a main mattress on the top of the support and having a cavity in which an auxiliary mattress is removably positioned, the auxiliary mattress having a pair of slots formed in its upper surface sized to receive human knees and padding material aggregately sized to occupy the slots. Another embodiment comprises the mattress support having a cavity in alignment with the main mattress cavity and in which an auxiliary mattress support is removably positioned. Heel support depressions are provided on the top surface of the mattress along with heel supporting inserts for the depressions to provide support for the user's heels in a variety of positions. Reinforcing means is provided within the mattress adjacent the mattress cavity. The mattress is secured to the support by means of snaps or projections in the support which engage the bottom surface of the mattress.
