Abstract:

An apparatus for stabilizing a load cell which may be used for a security floor plate connected to the load cell in cooperation with a platform. The apparatus utilizes an arm supported by the platform and fixed to the floor plate. A pedestal is also included which is supported from the platform and supports the load cell and connected floor plate above the platform. Lateral movement between the pedestal and the supported load cell is limited without inhibiting vertical movements of the load cell and connected floor plate.

Abstract:

A security enclosure for use with an existing door frame which is within a wall having first and second sides and extending upwardly from a base. A first door is hingedly connected to the door frame and includes a second portion which is capable of latching to the door frame. Between the first and second portions is a third portion which extends outwardly from the door and includes a ceiling. A second door of like construction is placed on the second side of the wall within the door frame to form a security unit.
