Abstract:

A sink comprising a basin and a faucet assembly foldably mounted relative to the basin. The faucet assembly is rotatable between an upright position wherein the faucet assembly protrudes out from the basin and a folded position wherein the faucet assembly is received within the basin. Another embodiment comprises a sink assembly including a sink housing including a conduit rack and a receptacle for a sink with such a foldable faucet assembly. The sink assembly may further include one or more slidable table portions or a pivotable lid for covering the sink when the faucet assembly is in the folded position. A serving cart, a gardening cart and a barbecue station, each including a sink with a foldable faucet assembly and a slidable table portion or pivotable lid for covering the sink when the faucet assembly is in the folded position.

Abstract:

An apparatus is provided for use in connection with a child's toy which selectively generates a noise. The apparatus includes a chamber within a child's toy for holding a volume of air. Adjacent the chamber is a noise-making member, such as a reed, constructed to vibrate when subjected to a moving air stream. The moving air stream is created when the child sits on the toy and rocks back and forth (i. e. , rides the toy). When the child rides the toy, air passes from the chamber and over the noise-making member. Surrounding the noise-making member is a tubular member for directing the air from the chamber around and past the noise-making member. The tubular member has an intake port in fluid communication with the chamber adapted to received air from the chamber and an exhaust port adapted to expel air after it has passed over the noise-making member. The apparatus also includes a control knob which supports the tubular member for selectively preventing air from passing over the noise-making member to prevent the noise-making member from producing a noise. Such control knob, when turned, takes the tubular member out of fluid communication with the chamber to prevent airflow across the noise-making member.

Abstract:

A foldable play structure is disclosed which includes a first wall unit, a second wall unit, and a first axially latchable hinge. The first hinge includes a first leaf attached to the first wall unit, a second leaf attached to the second wall unit, and a first pintle extending through the first and second leaves along a first axis. The first and second leaves are slidable relative to each other along the first axis between a pivotable position, wherein the first and second leaves may pivot relative to each other about the first axis, and a latched position, wherein pivotal movement of the first and second leaves about the first axis is restrained.
