Abstract:
A system and method for providing seamless communication with threads executing on an embedded computer. Using a DAT system, a programmer can test the communication interfaces of a thread via either a scripting program, any COM-compliant program, or a graphical test utility. The DAT system automatically formats a block of data that is transmitted between the embedded computer and a host computer and accounts for machine specific enumeration sizes, machine specific pointer sizes, machine specific structure alignment boundaries, machine specific integer sizes, and machine specific byte ordering.

Abstract:
A system and method for selective rerouting of document processing jobs is provided. A printer driver first converts electronic document data is into a device compatible format and assigned a unique document ID. The printer driver then determines a set of network devices, such as document processing devices, that are participating in the performance of received document processing jobs. The converted document data is then divided into portions and one or more portions are then sent to each of the participating network devices. One of the devices is then selected as the output device, whereupon the output device broadcasts/multicasts a request for processed data portions from each of the other network devices. The received portions are then recombined, and released for further processing in accordance with the received document processing job.

Abstract:
A video may be captured by an image capture device in motion. A stabilized view of the video may be generated by providing a punchout of the video. The punchout of the video may compensate for rotation of the image capture device during capture of the video. The size of the punchout of the video may be changed based on different rotational positions of to provide a view that includes different extents of the captured visual content. The changes in the size of the punchout may simulate changes in zoom of the visual content.

International Classification:

Abstract:
Methods and apparatus for multi-encoder processing of high resolution content. In one embodiment, the method includes capturing high resolution imaging content; splitting up the captured high resolution imaging content into respective portions; feeding the split up portions to respective imaging encoders; packing encoded content from the respective imaging encoders into an A/V container; and storing and/or transmitting the A/V container. In another embodiment, the method includes retrieving and/or receiving an A/V container; splitting up the retrieved and/or received A/V container into respective portions; feeding the split up portions to respective imaging decoders; stitching the decoded imaging portions into a common imaging portion; and storing and/or displaying at least a portion of the common imaging portion.
A client device requests a streaming video from a storage device, which encodes the video's frame in communication packets according to an encoding protocol for transmission to the client. The client device decodes the communication packets to obtain frame segments and a frame marking header indicating a boundary of the video frame relative to other video frames in the video. The communication packets may also include other segment headers indicating a relative ordering of corresponding frame segments. The client device determines, based on the frame marking header, whether a sufficient number of communication packets have been received to render a video frame. In response to determining that the sufficient number of communication packets has been received, the client device assembles the video frame from the frame segments corresponding to the video frame and presents at least a portion of the video by rendering the assembled video frame.
