An improved ECL circuit, based upon an ECL circuit of conventional design, functions as the required transceiver for the bi-directional data transmission between a computer and an electronic device with a specific interface of USB 2. The value of an emitter resistor within an emitter resistance network in the conventional ECL circuit is adjusted till its output voltage amplitude meets the USB 2. 0 specification. A number of voltage level shifting and capacitive coupling circuits are added to both the input and output sections of the conventional ECL circuit making it directly interfaceable with the popular CMOS logic family. A collector electrode switch network is also added to the conventional ECL circuit to make its output terminals tri-statable thus compatible with the communication scheme of half duplexing under the USB 2. 0 specification.

A magnetic field generator for producing a magnetic field that accelerates plasma formation is placed proximate a reaction chamber of semiconductor substrate processing system. The magnetic field generator has four main magnetic coil sections for producing a magnetic field nearly parallel to the top surface of a support pedestal in the reaction chamber and four sub-magnetic coil sections placed generally coaxially with the main magnetic coil sections to produce a magnetic field of the direction opposite of that of the magnetic field produced with the main magnetic coil sections. In the magnetic field generator, magnetic fields of opposite polarities are superimposed on each other when electric currents of opposite directions are applied to the main and sub-magnetic coil sections.

The present invention discloses a solid state drive with a coverless casing, which comprises: a printed circuit board assembly and a coverless casing. In the resent invention, the coverless casing is free of a top cover; thereby, air circulation can be enhanced to cool down the electronic components on a printed circuit board assembly more efficiently. Further, in the present invention, the coverless casing is designed to have the printed circuit board assembly electrically connected to the chassis ground of the host system via the coverless casings; thereby, unwanted electrostatic charges can be dissipated to the chassis ground of the host system before it can damage the electronic components on the printed circuit board assembly; thus, the ESD resistance thereof is promoted. Furthermore, the solid state drive with a coverless casing of the present invention is made of lightweight materials and easy to fabricate and simple to assemble; therefore, the present invention have the advantages of light weight and low cost.

Abstract:
An “Utterance-Based Knowledge Tool” monitors user utterances (e.g., user speech or text inputs) to identify relevant statements of facts in declarative utterances of a user. A semantic parser is applied to each statement of facts to parse assertions comprising instances of two or more entities and relations between those entities. As such, each assertion explicitly delimits a relation between two particular entities (one of which may be the user) that are relevant to the particular user. The Utterance-Based Knowledge Tool places or categorizes the identified assertions (which each include entities and relations) into one or more of a plurality of predefined classes. These classified assertions are then applied to construct and/or update a personal knowledge graph for the user. This personal knowledge graph is then applied to respond to user queries, thereby improving personal relevancy of query responses provided to the user.
