Hi! My name is Rachel Lasseter and I am a native Texan, born in Dallas and growing up in Arlington, home of Texas Rangers baseball. I received my Bachelor's Degree in Sociology from Texas A&M University and my Masters of Science in Social Work from the University of Texas at Arlington, specializing in Community and Administrative practice. Before I became a licensed Realtor, I worked in the nonprofit sector. I now work with Keller Williams Realty, the largest real estate company in the nation, assisting sellers and buyers in the Austin area to smoothly navigate their real estate transactions. There are many reasons that I enjoy being a Realtor, but most of all, I truly love using the skills I learned in social work to ease my clients through the transitions of buying or selling their homes. In my free time I like to explore my city, try out new restaurants and local pubs, stand up paddle around Town Lake/Lady Bird Lake or spend time with my dog, Winston, a Chihuahua/Miniature Pinscher mix that I adopted from the Austin Animal Center. I am also an Active member of the Junior League of Austin, the Austin Young Chamber of Commerce and the Capital City A&M Club.
