Abstract:
In general, techniques for configuring blacklist handling via regional profiles of reservation and departure control system (RDCS) are described herein. More specifically, a RDCS is disclosed for use in creating operational profiles. A global profile may be dynamically defined to determine operational aspects of a transportation carrier that are common to all office of that carrier. Office profiles are dynamically defined to determine operational aspects that are specific to that office location. In this manner, the operation of each office may be tailored to the specific location. Moreover, the operational aspects are not “hard-coded”, but instead are readily selectable by an authorized end user. According to one aspect, local management of blacklists is supported by the profiles.
