Abstract:

Provided are systems and methods for authentication multiple sign-in accounts using physical authentication information submitted by user devices to authentication servers for accessing these accounts. A user device may be equipped with or coupled to a reader capable of collecting physical authentication information available on a magnetic strip, near field communication tag, and other devices. This information may be requested by an authentication server or application server. The physical authentication information may be combined with knowledge based information, such as a password, and transmitted to the authentication server for validation. The same authentication information may be used for signing-in to different application servers. The authentication server then validates this information based on user information previously provided to the server and stored in its database. The validation result is provided to the application server, which determines whether to provide access to the user device based on the validation result.
