Abstract:

A computer interactive device supports a planar keyboard and a display panel. A resilient keyboard overlay may be inserted to and removed from a position overlying the keyboard. Abstract:

A toy glider having a generally rigid spine member with integrally formed transversely extending connector portions configured for receiving the wings therein, with the wings being separable from the spine member on impact. The wings are provided with creases with apertures adjacent thereto for connecting thereto simulated armament which maintains each wing in a folded configuration, with a seat member being adjustably attachable to the spine member, the seat being adapted for receiving one of a plurality of toy figures of different weights within a range of weights, the position of the seat and the weight of the figure, in part, controlling the aerodynamics of the glider.

Abstract:

A busy ball child's toy including a generally spheroid structure having a plurality of openings, at least some of the openings being configured for captive yet rotatable retention of a generally hollow ball therein. Some of the balls may be at least partially transparent and contain an amusement element therein such as rotatable figures, beads, reflecting elements, lenticular labels, or the like. The toy is symmetrical about its center and balanced to enable the toy to be spun as a top. An interconnecting post positioned centrally relative to the balls acts as a shock absorber in the event of dropping or striking of the toy on the balls.

A sound producing workbench toy includes a molded plastic base supporting a molded plastic work surface. A work station formed of a molded plastic material defines a plurality of receptacles within which various tools and accessories such as simulated nails, screws or bolts may be received. Switch mechanisms within the receptacles are coupled to conventional sound producing circuits and are operative in response to the manipulation of inserted tools, screws, bolts or the like to energize the sound circuits at the appropriate time.

Abstract:

A toy computer includes a keyboard housing and a monitor housing pivotally secured by a hinge coupler. A depressible keyboard unit is pivotally supported by the keyboard housing and is coupled to a movable slider within the interior of the keyboard housing. A return spring is coupled to the slider and is operative to pivot the slider such that a ratchet engaging tooth is raised to its engagement position in the absence of a keyboard unit stroke. An endless belt display utilizes a cylindrical lens element array together with a segmented image formed on the endless belt to provide apparent motion of the image as the endless belt is moved. A ratchet coupling system is coupled between the slider and the movable belt to provide incremental belt motions in response to each keyboard stroke.

A game having a playing surface for receiving a spinning top propelled onto the surface by a top spinning mechanism at the general midpoint of the playing surface. First and second oppositely disposed siderails are provided with the edges thereof a predetermined height above the playing surface for impacting with the top, the edges being angularly inclined outwardly from the midpoint toward opposite ends of the playing surface. First and second barrier members are provided at opposite ends of the playing surface with each of the barrier members having at least one opening for passage therethrough of the spinning top. A blocker member is slidably mounted on each barrier member for manual operation by opposing players for protecting against passage of the top through the opening with each barrier member having a tongue portion extending toward the playing surface with the tongue portion being configured for redirecting the top, upon impact therewith, back onto the playing surface.

A pinball-type game utilizing a spinning top actuated by a high speed spinning mechanism, release of the top onto a playing surface having a number of obstacles propelling the top against a scoring mechanism having a rocker arm which, upon impact, through a pawl device rotates a scoring indicator. The scoring indicator is provided with a spring clutch to enable the indicator to return to zero. "Flippers" are provided to redirect the spinning top along the playing surface.
