Abstract:

Disclosed is a system and method for sending and tracking printed advertisements. The method includes receiving an advertisement order to disseminate an advertisement message from an advertiser, sending a printing order to print a design on a wall of a shipping container, wherein the design includes the advertisement message and a unique identification code linked to the advertisement message; sending the shipping container to an item seller, instructing the item seller to configure the shipping container such that the design appears on an inside wall of the shipping container, and further instructing the item seller to submit destination information, the unique identification code, and origination information of the shipping container, sending an item to a destination using the shipping container, receiving the destination information, the unique identification code, and the origination information from the item seller, compensating the item seller upon receiving the destination information, the unique identification code, and the origination information submitted by the item seller, and providing a report of at least the destination information, the advertisement message, and the origination information to the advertiser.

Abstract:

A slide projector control module and control system to operate one or more slide projectors located at one or more different locations, each slide projector having a slide tray and being connected with the control module. Conventional telephone lines are used to connect each slide projector and each module at each location for viewing the same slide at all locations. Slide projectors at all locations are capable of being rendered operative and the slide projector is operative only at its location with its associated control module when properly selected. Each module includes switches to connect and disconnect the remote and local projector from a key pad which provides touch tone signals capable of being muted from telephone lines. The control system is operable from a local or remote site to permit conferences to discuss a series of visuals and to recall the visuals as needed at each site of a multi-site and/or multi-person conference. The slide projector control module is provided at each site and is capable of operation as a master or a slave to permit each site to be a master or slave operable from a local or a remote site, so that the slide viewed at each site presents the same visual.

Abstract:

The invention is a toll restricting method and apparatus which restricts toll telephone calls from telephone stations by interrupting dialing sequences if from the station there is dialed (a) a restricted digit during a first predetermined number of digits, or (b) more than a second predetermined number of digits. Restricted dialing sequences are interrupted by disconnecting the telephone from the central office line for a period sufficient to release all the registered digits and to return central office dial tone to the telephone. Also provided are a method and apparatus for allowing absorb digits to be dialed before the counting of digits begins. A method and apparatus are additionally provided for restricting a telephone from which delays between digits dialed are greater than a predetermined time delay.
