A puller () for removing a compression sleeve from a pipe () generally comprised of a cylindrical body () containing on one end an internal cavity () to receive the pipe () and an external double thread () to engage a compression nut () and on the opposite end a threaded through screw () entering the cavity (). A disk () attached at one end of the screw () bears on the end of the pipe () and a torque handle () at the other end is used to supply increasing pressure against the end of the pipe (). The puller () is threadably attached to the compression nut () placing the pipe () into the internal cavity () against the disk () while the compression sleeve () is contained between the compression nut () and the puller (). Turning the torque handle () urges the compression nut () and the compression sleeve () toward the end of the pipe () until the compression nut () and compression sleeve () are freed from the pipe ().
