Abstract:

A method for the production of a cleaning agent and a solvent carrier with reduced toxicity resulting from lower isopropyl bromide (2-bromopropane) content will be described. Abstract:

The present invention relates to the effective leak detection of refrigerants by the addition of dyes from the general chemical class of naphthalimide fluorescent dyes in a refrigeration system where said refrigeration system employs alone, or in combination, a refrigerant in a hermetic system such as, but not limited to, chlorofluorocarbons (CFC), hydrochlorofluorocarbons (HCFC), hydrofluorocarbons (HFC) and any hydrogen, halogenated or ether derivatives of the methane, hydrogen, halogenated, ether or cyclic derivatives of either ethane, propane, butane, pentane, mixtures of HCFC, HFC, hydrocarbons, carbon dioxide and ammonia. Leakage is determined by inspection of the sealed system using a lamp having an emission wavelength from 300 to 480 nanometers providing an indication of any system leakage.

A blend of terpene hydrocarbons and aliphatic or cyclic ketones are used for the effective cleaning of electrical contacts. Abstract:

A new process is provided which when used will shield occupants of any dwelling from EMF radiation. The conditions specify the use of a conductive material which resists the passage of electric charge in a very narrow range, from 0. 2-400 ohms/square with 377 ohms/square as best. This number has a special significance: it is the resistance of a perfect absorber of electromagnetic radiation. The coating will be used as a primer paint and will provide an excellent shield from EMF radiation, especially that which occurs with high voltage lines at 60 Hz but also for microwave radiation at a frequency of 10 kilohertz to 100 gigahertz.

Abstract:

The rotor preferably fills from 28 to 100% of the volume of the mixing chamber; most preferably 50 to 75%. The rotor may be heliciform along its longitudinal axis.

A stabilized, environmentally-safe solvent mixture and method for using the mixture are provided. The solvent mixture has an ozone depletion factor of less than 0. 08.
