Abstract:

A system and method using a touch probe device for eddy current inspection. The touch probe provides a simple approach for coming within close contact of the specimen while maintaining a normal angle and pressure at the right positions. The use of the touch probe further reduces the total time for the eddy current inspection. The touch probe aligns the probe to a specimen to be inspected, for the purpose of reducing measurement errors and increasing productivity.

Abstract:

A retrofit shelf and method are disclosed for converting an existing towel bar, commonly found in a bathroom, into a storage platform. Versions of the retrofit shelf are configured to be universally useful with a plurality of support bar configurations in an unobtrusive and cost effective manner without the use of an adhesive. The retrofit shelf is configured to load the support bar with directional forces for which the support bar is designed to support.
