Abstract:A transducer includes a body mountable to a vehicle spindle and a plurality of accelerometers coupled to the body. The plurality of accelerometers measure acceleration of the body. A calculation circuit coupled to the plurality of accelerometers receives output signals therefrom and converts the measured acceleration to displacement signals indicative of displacement of the body in a coordinate system.

Abstract:A load cell is provided that includes first and second sensor support assemblies. Each sensor support assembly has a rigid central hub having an end plate and a support element extending transversely from the end plate and also includes a rigid annular ring concentric with the central hub. A first mount is joined to the end plate of the first sensor support assembly, the mount being spaced apart from and extending in the same direction as the support element of the first sensor support assembly. A first plurality of sensing devices are operably coupled between the support element of the first and second sensing support assemblies and the corresponding annular rings, respectively. The end plates of the first and second sensor support assemblies are joined together.

Abstract:The present invention relates to a telemetry assembly for a spindle. The telemetry assembly includes a wireless transmitter coupled to the spindle to rotate therewith and a receiving antenna wirelessly coupled to the transmitter. A guiding system having a central aperture and coupled to the wireless transmitter and the receiving antenna guides rotation of the wireless transmitter relative to the receiving antenna. If desired, the telemetry assembly can be used in a telemetry system including a hub adapter mountable to the spindle and a transducer mountable to the hub adapter. Furthermore, an angular positioning device and a wireless power coupling can be provided.

Abstract:A platform balance includes a first frame support and a second frame support movable relative to the first frame support. At least one counter balance assembly is provided to support the static weight of the first frames support and elements connected thereto. The counterbalance assembly includes a beam and a pivot assembly allowing the beam to pivot. A weight is selectively positionable on the beam. A compliant assembly is supported by the beam on a portion thereof on a side of the pivot assembly opposite the weight. The compliant assembly supports the first frame support. The compliant assembly includes a second pivot assembly and a planar motion assembly coupled to the second pivot assembly.

view source- The suit contends when Gault was approached in 1985 by Richard Meyer, the president of Red Label Records, about making the video, an important objective of the project was to raise money to give to Chicago's neediest families. In fact, in part of Walter Payton's rap in the song, the late Hall of Fam have -- to make such a move. After Meyer died in 1992, the interest in the "Shuffle" went to his wife Julia. The plaintiffs contend in the lawsuit that they just recently discovered that Red Label had signed over its interest in the video to Richard Meyer which they contend is a breach of contract.
