An integrated database and information server are provided that efficiently share information and tasks between various stored value programs. A server is configured to provide reusable objects and data structures that are suitably shared between various stored value products. A database at the server allows data to be shared between various programs so that each consumer associates with only one database record even though that consumer may use multiple shared value products. An exemplary common record for a consumer includes information relating to mailing addresses, preferred language, and the like. By integrating modules and avoiding duplicate records, the record communicates with all stored value programs, so the information does not need to be repeatedly entered into the database. Moreover, new stored value products are quickly and easily created through selection and arrangement of various shared objects preferably maintained within the database.

Abstract:

A method of forming a conversion layer on a metallic surface and a composition usable in the method are provided. The composition is an aqueous solution comprising a source of tungstate ions and a soluble material comprising zirconium. The method provides a conversion coating on a surface that can then be painted or otherwise treated. The conversion coatings of the present invention are minimally affected by heating and/or baking, unlike chromate conversion coatings of the prior art.

Abstract:

By selectively associating output signal lines with logic circuit input signal lines, it is possible to produce a combination logic circuit and latch string in which no pair of adjacent latches is connected to the same cone of logic in the logic circuit. This provides greatly improved capabilities for delay or AC circuit test with respect to the independence of test pairs of excitation data. Abstract:

A wet cell battery monitor developed to monitor both electrolyte fluid level and electrolyte fluid charge (specific gravity) of a single cell. The monitor includes a probe and appropriate circuitry. The probe is adapted for insertion into a cell for monitoring and is connected to two circuits which are interconnected. Both include resistors, preferably variable, and include induction coil type relay switches. Blocking diodes are preferably used to maintain the independent integrity of each of the two circuit, one which warns of fluid level drop off and the other of a decrease in electrolyte fluid charge. The two circuits each drop off independenly in response to specific gravity (state of charge) and to fluid level, respectively, setting off alarms, e. g. visual or audio signals.
