Abstract:
The present invention provides a process and system for matching buyers and sellers of either goods or services, or goods and services for a project. The invention enables a buyer to specify a project in terms of physical, functional, temporal, financial, and transactional parameters that can be automatically converted, by the present invention, into at least one request for either goods or services, or goods and services to perform work related to the project. The requests are suitably provided to at least one seller. Upon receiving a request, the seller may submit a response to the request, as desired. The invention provides a forum for the negotiation of any agreements and the formation of contracts to provide the requested, or alternative goods or services, or goods and services, as well as reconciliation of purchase orders, actual field costs, and invoices.

Method And System For Comparing A Purchase Order, Actual Data, And An Invoice To Determine A Discrepancy Between The Purchase Order, Actual Data, And The Invoice
A method and system for enhancing a workflow system by providing supportive information for a project is disclosed. A purchase order relating to at least one request for at least one good, at least one service, and combinations thereof relating to the project is received from a first user. An actual data to complete a portion of the project is received from a second user in response to the purchase order. An invoice is received from the second user upon completion of the portion of the project. The purchase order, actual data, and the invoice are compared to determine a discrepancy between the purchase order, actual data, and the invoice. A proposed reconciliation from the first user or the second user is received in response to an electronic notification of the discrepancy. An approval or disapproval of the proposed reconciliation is received from the first user or the second user.

Abstract:
A method for evaluating sedimentary basins for hydrocarbon potential using aqueous fluid inclusions. Aqueous fluid inclusions are identified in a rock sample. The homogenization temperatures of the fluid inclusions are determined, the optical spectra of the water and methane in the fluid inclusions are measured, and the formation pressures are estimated from the relationship of homogenization temperature and optical spectrum to formation pressure. Formation pressure of the fluid inclusions can be combined with history of the fluid inclusion formation to reconstruct the paleo-history of the basin to evaluate hydrocarbon potential.
