Abstract:

A peer-to-peer commerce system in part relies on being able to identify the geographic location of the electronic devices, e.g., computers or palm pilots. Where the computer or device is stationary, this can be indicated by inserting a zip code, address or telephone number in the computer code identifying the device. Where the device is mobile, this can be indicated manually in a similar fashion. In addition, global positioning satellite (“GSP”) devices may be incorporated with the device to give geographic location automatically. Further, if the device is a cellular telephone device, the cellular device has location information in terms of identifying the cell in which the device is broadcasting. The peer-to-peer search is passed simultaneously over various branches of a binary tree to applications controlling databases for various businesses. Each business application checks the query against the information on its database and provides it to the requesting computer when available.

Abstract:

The energetic salts of 3-nitramino-4-nitrofurazan have a desirable combination of desirable properties such as sufficiently high densities, and low or no hydrogen content. The salts are useful as ingredients in various propellant, explosive, gassifier, and pyrotechnic compositions. 3-Nitramino-4-nitrofurazan is itself a useful energetic compound and is also useful in the synthesis of still further energetic compounds.

Abstract:

A mooring arm structure is provided including a first elongated arm mounted at one end for angular displacement relative to a dock supported mount about a horizontal axis extending transversely of the first arm and with the second free end of the first arm projecting outwardly beyond one marginal portion of the dock. The second end of the first arm has the upper end of a depending second arm anchored relative thereto and the second arm is constructed of shape retentive resilient material. The lower end of the second arm has a ball hitch socket assembly supported therefrom and an airplace-type shock absorber is connected between the lower end of the second arm and a longitudinal midportion of the first arm. In a modified form of the invention, the mount is supported from the dock marginal portion for vertical guided shifting therealong and motor structure is operatively connected thereto for raising and lowering the mount responsive to excessive raising and lowering, respectively, of the second end of the first arm.
