Abstract:

Embodiments of the invention relate to risk review assessments and, more particularly to determining risk review candidates by identifying two or more community categories, determining risk scores for each user/employee across risk categories, normalizing the risk scores based on community averages and community standard deviations and determining risk review candidates by comparing the normalized risk scores to predetermined thresholds. In additional embodiments, an outlier reinforcement score for each user/employee by summing all of the positive-valued normalized risk scores across the two or more communities and comparing the outlier reinforcement score to a predetermined threshold.

Abstract:

An apparatus for separating a gas from a liquid but truly suited for use in a zero gravity environment. The apparatus includes first and second closed vessels each of which are separated into a gas and liquid zone. The first vessel is separated by gas de-entrainment means and the second vessel by a plurality of elongated passageways for capillary containment of a body of liquid. The passageways provide the sole source of fluid communication between the gas and liquid zones. The gas zones of the first and second vessels are in fluid communication with one another as are the liquid zones of the first and second vessels. Means are provided for introducing a liquid containing entrained gas into the first vessel for impingement upon the gas of the entrainment means such that the liquid passes through the de-entrainment means and flows into the second vessel and the entrained gas is separated and flows into a gas storage space of the second vessel displacing the body of liquid metal contained in the passageways in said second vessel. The apparatus further includes means for withdrawing liquid from a liquid zone of the second vessel which has been freed of any entrained gas. The apparatus is particularly suitable for use in the separation of tritium and helium from the lithium coolant of a nuclear reactor.

Abstract:

The method uses statistical information obtained by running the computer code with test data to determine a new ordering for the code blocks. The new order places code blocks that are often executed after one another close to one another in the computer's memory. The method first generates chains of basic blocks, and then merges the chains. Finally, basic blocks that were not executed by the test data that was used to generate the statistical information are moved to a distant location to allow the blocks that were used to be more closely grouped together.

Abstract:

A traditional bong is provided having an upright barrel divided by a partition into a lower, dry chamber into which the pipe stem enters, and an upper aqueous chamber which is made spill-proof by virtue of a stand pipe extending up from the lower chamber through the baffle, this stand pipe being covered by an elongated cap which bobbles up and down in the liquid-filled upper chamber as the device is used and seals against an opening and an overlying baffle when the bong is inverted to prevent spillage. An additional novel effect is produced by the bobbling of the diverter cap which covers the stand pipe, which tends to mix the inhaled smoke with the water as it bobbles.
