Abstract:An improved method of imparting salt and/or mechanical stability to an aqueous polymer microsuspension comprising admixing with the microsuspension a stabilizing amount of a mono- and dialkyldiphenyl ether sulfonate surfactant composition comprising, by weight, at least about 35 weight percent, based on the total weight of the composition, of at least one dialkyldiphenyl ether sulfonate.
