Abstract:

An air flow control device, such as an air diffuser () with a differential pressure sensing assembly. The diffuser () has a housing () formed for mounting to a supply air conduit () for discharge of supply air () into a room (). The differential pressure sensing assembly includes a diffuser-mounted portion () and a detachable sensor portion (). The diffuser mounted portion () is provided by a pressure tube () having at least one opening () therein mounted to the housing () with the opening () positioned proximate an area of known cross section to communicate pressure at the opening () to an open distal end () of the tube (). The distal end () is secured in a position accessible from a room side () of the housing (). The distal end () of the tube () is formed for releasable coupling of the detachable sensor portion () of the differential pressure sensing assembly thereto, and the sensor portion includes a differential pressure measurement device () for measurement of the difference between the supply air pressure in the diffuser () at the known area and the ambient room air pressure. This measurement is made from a room side () of the housing () and allows a determination of the supply air flow rate through the diffuser to be made.

An automated receivables management system that provides a self-service collection environment using an electronic network, such as the Internet or a PCS, as a medium for communication and transaction execution. Comprehensive collections services are provided in a fully automated fashion, including account decisioning, treatment specification, communication channel specification, and communication to the customer and method for payment/response from the customer using the electronic channel. The electronic network operates as a fully-automated electronic receivables environment, providing a medium for notification, receiving funds and customer responses, while allowing the creation of a test and control environment for experimentation on a customer level. Using results from existing policies or strategies, the system matches account performance with account history in order to determine the optimal new strategy for interacting with the respective account(s). This process not only determines the optimal strategy, but can automatically apply the strategy to the account(s) that meets the appropriate criteria.

Abstract:

A bag is provided which is inclusive of a mouth for the insertion of objects to be stored in the bag. The bag is provided with an input section at the mouth to guide the objects via the mouth into the bag. The input section is adapted for being curled in order to function as a closure for the mouth. A retainer is furthermore provided for being hooded over the input section with the latter having been curled thereby to retain the closure at the mouth. A substantially rigid bar of curved form is provided on the bag at the mouth for imparting a curved conformation to the structure to enhance the closure. The retainer is preferably of a pouch-like configuration defining a receptacle to receive the input section in its curled condition. The bag and input section are of a monolithic construction which is of a waterproof material.
