Abstract:
A portable and lockable storage container includes a lid, a base, a locking mechanism, and a securing cable. The lid defines a lid aperture therein proximate a front edge portion of the lid. The base is hingedly connected to the lid along at least part of rear edge portions of the base and the lid. The lid and the base define a chamber when the lid is closed. The locking mechanism is connected to the base proximate a front edge portion of the base. The front edge portion of the base substantially aligns with the front edge portion of the lid when the lid is closed. The securing cable is designed to allow at least part of a first end portion of the securing cable to pass through the lid aperture and cooperate with the locking mechanism to retain the lid in a closed position.

Abstract:
A fishing leader carrier in the form of an open-ended, hollow tube has teeth at one end to receive the leader hooks and slots at the opposite end for aligning individual leaders to be added to or released from the frictional clamping action of a resilient ring positioned annularly of the external cylindrical surface of the tube and running laterally across a midportion of the slots. A block of water buoyant material fitted inside the tube provides flotation.

Abstract:
A portable insect control trap has, in a single portable device, two modes of attracting insects, including a first mode adapted to attract flying insects (e.g. insect-attracting light) and a second mode adapted to attract crawling insects (e.g., bait). The same device has two modes of killing insects, including a first mode adapted to kill flying insects (e.g. an electrified grid) and a second mode adapted to kill crawling insects (e.g. an electric heating element). The first mode of attracting is associated with the first mode of killing, the second mode of attracting is associated with the second mode of killing.
