Abstract:
The invention provides a redundant cooling system with abatement of noise from cooling fans used primarily in computer equipment and other boxes housing electronic equipment. Typically either the computer system or box housing electronic components has two parallel side panels, a front panel, and a back panel upon which cooling fans are mounted to draw air across various electronic components and through the box for heat dissipation. The cooling system includes an airflow grille attached to one end of a laminar flow duct and two adjacent cooling fans mounted to the other end of a laminar flow duct which includes a Venturi opening on the top panel of the laminar flow duct to facilitate laminar flow through the laminar flow duct at a distance before the cooling fans and at a distance after the cooling fans.

International Classification:

US Classification:

Abstract:
An apparatus and method for testing a network-based storage virtualization system. A tester is connected to a host side of a storage virtualization system. The tester provides test scripts to the storage virtualization system to test I/O and other operations. A separate link, independent of said storage virtualization system, is provided to a storage side of said storage virtualization system to allow verification of the correct translation from virtual to physical independent of the data path used by the virtualization system. Thus, the tester verifies, over the separate link, the physical configuration of VLUNs and data written to the VLUNs by the tester on storage devices.

Abstract:
A system with a RAID controller connected to a plurality of hosts, and having a storage area configurable as a plurality of logical units. The RAID controller stores in an associated memory a table of access rights for the hosts to the logical units. Updates can be provided and additional material can be provided in new memory space that is subsequently made available to the various hosts by providing updated access rights that include the new space. In one embodiment, the present invention also maps the logical unit number from that requested by the host to an actual number used in the RAID subsystem.

Abstract:
A transmural ablation device is provided to achieve endocardial and epicardial ablation at the same site but directed from the inner and outer surfaces of the heart to create a transmural lesion. By ablating from both sides of the heart tissue, it is possible to increase the depth of the lesion created and to increase the likelihood of a transmural lesion. Embodiments pertain to techniques to align the endocardial and epicardial ablation elements and techniques to position and move the endocardial and epicardial ablation elements along a predefined linear, curvilinear, or circular path. The ability to bring the epicardial and endocardial elements more closely or firmly with the underlying tissue is important in creating optimal lesions. Magnetic force attracts the epicardial and endocardial elements.
President Robert Robbins also said he would like to require the COVID-19 vaccine for anyone visiting the campus, with religious and medical exemptions. "I would very much like to see this be required for everyone who works and comes to campus as a student," Robbins said.
