Abstract:A system for achieving a controlled low emission rate of small volumes of liquid solutions for pest and insect management and other applications. The system has a sealed liquid solution reservoir having an outlet port, a self-powered fluid delivery micropump, and a collector for receiving a liquid solution from the sealed liquid solution reservoir. The liquid solution reservoir has a small volume capacity in the range of 1-100 mL. The micropump is a fluid transfer device capable of delivering 1-1000 microliters/hour of liquid solution. The collector has a low emission rate in the range of 0. 1-2000 mg/day. The micropump and the sealed liquid solution reservoir may be contained in a single assembly. Also the entire structure of the system may be located in a single container that may be attached to a support structure. The system also allows a multicomponent mixture in the reservoir to be delivered to a collector such as a blotter that allows the different chemical agents to emanate therefrom at a constant ratio throughout the term of the operation.

Abstract:The methods and devices disclosed provides for the delivery of agents to an orifice cavity and subsequent aspiration of the agent and orifice contents from the orifice cavity and related areas. Abstract:A print engine for an inkjet printer which has a media path extending past a printhead assembly along a paper axis, has an elongate printhead carriage extending transverse to the paper axis, a series of interfaces for supplying ink to respective printhead modules spaced along the printhead carriage such that during use, the printhead modules span the media path and ink conduits connected to the interfaces for feeding ink to the printhead modules. Abstract:A printing system that has a media feed assembly for feeding different sizes of media along a media path, the media path having a width corresponding to a maximum width of media that can be printed by the printing system. The system also having a printhead assembly positioned on a first side of the media path and spanning the width of the media path, an aerosol collection duct with an opening on the first side of the media path and a spittoon system positioned on a second side of the media path opposing the first side. The printhead assembly is configured to eject non-printing ink drops from any section not required to print media that is less than the maximum width, and the spittoon system is configured to collect the non-printing ink drops.

Rice Diet shuts down NC home after 70 years
