Abstract:

Methods and systems to detect droop events on-chip, which may include a sensor circuit located adjacent to a voltage node to convert a corresponding voltage to a digital count or value indicative of the voltage. The sensor circuit may include an n-stage ring oscillator and an asynchronous counter. The sensor circuit may include circuitry to capture and convert a phase associated with a count to a binary fractional value to increase voltage resolution. Multiple counts associated with the node may be evaluated at the node to identify minimum and maximum counts and corresponding time stamps. More complex evaluation and control circuitry may be shared amongst a plurality of sensor circuits and may include circuitry to generate and compare counts to one or more variable thresholds, circuitry to average counts over time, and memory to store state values associated with the sensors.

Abstract:

Systems and methods for sequencing electronic files include generating a first file sequence and one or more alternative file sequences. An alternative file sequence may be generated based in part on a characteristic of a file in the first sequence. The first and alternative sequences may be used in an electronic slideshow that allows a user to switch between file sequences. In some implementations, which alternative file sequences are generated may be determined based in part on a prediction of characteristics that may be of interest to a user.

Abstract:

A notebook for storing computer disks and documentation related thereto is disclosed. The notebook includes an articulated four-piece cover. A front cover is hingeably connected through a spine to a back cover, which back cover is hingeably connected to an overlay cover. A storage receptacle including two mated portions is attached to an inner surface of the back cover and overlay cover for receipt of computer disks. An outer surface of the overlay cover includes a binder assembly to releasably hold loose-leaf documentation related to the computer disk being used. At the proximate edge of the overlay cover, on the surface opposite the surface to which the binding assembly is mounted, is formed a means for receiving a free edge of the front cover. The notebook therefore can assume a storage position in which the overlay cover lies adjacent to the back cover, sealing a computer disk in the storage receptacle, and an easel position, the free edge of the front cover being insertable into the receiving means of the overlay cover, supporting the documentation at an elevated position with respect to the back cover.

Abstract:

A support device for bound materials, such as a notebook binder holder pages of computer software documentation, holds the bound materials in two distinct positions. In a first position, front and back covers, along free edges thereof, are received by tracks in the support device which hold the front and back covers in a substantially parallel position to each other. The support device is otherwise essentially open so that the entire spine and substantially all of the front and back covers are easily seen. In a second position, one side of the support device includes a pair of angled notches formed therein which receives lower free edges of the front and back covers. Turning the support device onto its other side, allows the user of the device to place the bound materials in the second position, supported in the notches in an open, raised or easel position for easy access and use. Means for spreading covers of the bound materials apart and into the parallel position includes a guide wall which gradually separates one cover from the other cover. The guide wall is relatively lower in height than inside walls of the device which define tracks for the free edges of the covers.

Abstract:

A computer disk holder for disks of the three and one-half inch format attachable to a three-ring notebook with snap rings is disclosed. The disk holder includes a frame of relatively rigid plastic having tabs formed along an edge thereof so that the disk holder can function as a page flipper for documentation when connected into the notebook. Disks are inserted into the disk holder along guide means and received by retention means. Bias means are biased as the disk is inserted into a compartment of the disk holder defined in part by the guide means. Once the bias means are biased, the disk is held in place by the retention means and the bias means.

Abstract:

The present invention relates to stable HPV capsomeres which express at least one virus-neutralizing conformational epitope of a native HPV L1 protein which are substantially incapable of assembly into virus-like particles. These capsomeres, because of their smaller size, and immunogenic properties are well suited for use in HPV vaccines and as diagnostic agents. Moreover, because of their smaller size (relative to VLPs), these stable capsomeres may be easily purified and should result in HPV vaccines of enhanced homogeneity.
