Abstract:
A valve assembly () comprises a valve body (), a first valve (), a second valve (), and a manual override device (). The valve body () defines a first inlet (), a second inlet (), and an outlet (). Each valve () includes a plunger () that is electrically movable between a position whereat the corresponding inlet () communicates with the outlet () and a position whereat the inlet () is sealed from the outlet (). The override device () is manually movable to override positions whereat the electrical control of one of the valves () is overridden and the plunger's seat-sealing surface () is caused to move so that the corresponding inlet () communicates with the outlet ().

Abstract:
A diesel dosing module utilizes a diesel fuel shut-off valve, a diesel fuel dosing valve to provide dosing fuel to the inlet of a diesel oxidation catalyst and an air purge valve to purge fuel from a dosing line attached to the diesel dosing module and from a nozzle attached to a distal end of the dosing line. The valves are attached to a housing manifold which is remotely positionable from the nozzle and the high heat areas of the vehicle.

Abstract:
A filter module for filtering a flow of fluid employs a base member which either mounts a blanking plug or a diverter valve module. The plug is replaced by a diverter valve module for use with those engines that require an auxiliary source of low pressure fuel. A solenoid valve is housed in the module. A pressure regulator valve positioned in the valve module maintains a backpressure in the filter assembly to insure that there is sufficient head to drive the flow of fuel to the engine.

Abstract:
A fuel filter assembly employs a spring-loaded collar which retains the disposable cartridge to the base. The collar carries a wave spring and comprises followers which ascend a spiral ramp of the base for securing the disposable cartridge to the base in a positive locked position. The filter assembly also incorporates an efficient bleed orifice and a pair of axial spaced seal rings for implementing a fluid seal with the received disposable cartridge.

Abstract:
A filter assembly employs a bracket and a base which mounts a disposable filter element cartridge. The bracket has a bracket mounting portion for mounting the bracket to a vehicle and a base mounting portion for mounting the base. The bracket mounting portion may be offset from the base mounting portion to provide mounting flexibility. The base mounting portion has a plurality of outwardly projecting catches that engage and support a corresponding number of hangers on the base. A threaded stud mounted on the bracket is received between the hangers. A nut in threaded engagement with the stud is torqued into engagement with the base, securing the base to the bracket.

Abstract:
Provided is a valve having a movable valve member with an orifice, a plunger movable to block/allow flow through the orifice, and a resilient biasing member for resiliently biasing the valve member away from the valve seat. When the plunger is moved to a position allowing flow, fluid flows through the orifice creating a pressure differential in the valve that in combination with the resilient biasing member moves the valve member to a position allowing flow through a main passageway of the valve. During a low or no flow condition, the valve member is held in the position allowing flow to prevent a drop in performance of a system utilizing the valve that would result if the valve member moved to a blocking position.

Abstract:
A pilot-operated proportional cartridge valve that has low internal leakage and long life, without requiring close ID/OD spool clearances that add cost to comparable prior art valves. The flow control valve is uniquely characterized by the use of two axially spaced-apart spring energized wiper seals that floatingly support a flow control piston within a cylindrical chamber to allow transaxial shifting movement of the piston for proper alignment with mating components, such as a valve seat. The spring energized wiper seals are preferably oriented in opposite directions for sealing against pressure differentials at opposite ends of the valve piston. In a preferred embodiment, the seals are spring energized cup seals.
