Abstract:
A process is provided for the electrodeposition of alloys of tin and lead by passing electrical current through an anode, an aqueous acidic plating solution and a cathode, wherein the aqueous acidic plating bath includes at least one organic compound having a formula ##STR1## wherein X=O, S, or NH and R. sub. 2 and R. sub. 3 are H, or lower alkyl and R. sub. 1 is ##STR2##.
This disclosure relates to an accessory to a bathing system, e. g. , a bathtub with a step-through access, to provide a bather of restricted mobility roll-in capability to shower. It features a ramp i. e. , an inclined surface, which in this invention is fixed in position to furnish roll-in access to the tub. Associated devices cooperate to locate and secure the ramp in the access, More specifically, an insert having opposed legs and a base engages grooves on the sides of the access. In one embodiment, a splash shield extends upright from the ramp to divert shower water back into the tub.
A process is provided for the production of antimony oxide from antimony sulfide which comprises the steps of comminuting the antimony sulfide to form a plurality of antimony sulfide containing particles, mixing the antimony sulfide containing particles with substantially pure oxygen, reacting the antimony sulfide with oxygen to form a gaseous stream of antimony oxide and sulfur dioxide, cooling the gaseous stream below the boiling point of antimony oxide, separating the condensed antimony oxide from the sulfur dioxide, further cooling the separated sulfur dioxide and utilizing the cooled sulfur dioxide to cool the gaseous stream of antimony oxide and sulfur dioxide. Apparatus for accomplishing this process is also provided.
