Abstract:

A protective cover for a filler tube for a fuel tank includes a body portion and a movable door that covers and exposes an opening in the filler tube. To guide the movement of the nozzle, the cover includes a nozzle guide that contacts the nozzle and acts as a fulcrum with a radius of rotation. When force is applied to the nozzle, the nozzle guide amplifies the force and causes the nozzle to act as a lever against the feature on a sliding door, allowing the door to slide open with minimal force from the user.

Abstract:

A valve assembly includes a valve body and a seat defining an outlet. The valve assembly also includes a float disposed inside the valve body and is movable between a first position and a second position relative to the valve body. The valve assembly further includes a support coupled to the float and is movable with the float between the first and second positions. The valve assembly also includes a sealing member attached to the support and has an engagement portion spaced from the seat when the float is in the first position and engaging the seat when the float is in the second position.

Abstract:

An angle flow valve comprises a carriage. The carriage comprises a first recess, a flow restrictor in the first recess, a second recess, and a relief valve in the second recess. A first port is fluidly connected to the first recess. An angled flow path is fluidly connected to the first recess and to the second recess. A second port is fluidly connected to the angled flow path. The first recess is parallel to the second recess. A solenoid assembly is mounted to the carriage. The solenoid assembly comprises a lead, a bobbin, coil windings, a pole piece, a flux collector, and a sleeve. An integrally formed overmold layer surrounds the carriage and the solenoid assembly.
