Abstract:

A game play apparatus housing supports a joystick post and a plurality of game play input buttons. A miniature surfboard is supported on the upper end of the joystick post. A microprocessor game play circuit and sound circuit together with a controller is supported within the interior of the housing. A simulated shark head is pivotally supported upon the upper end of the housing and forms an upper jaw. A drive mechanism utilizing a reversible motor responds to the controller circuit to either oscillate the head and upper jaw through a narrow range of motion or, alternatively, allow a rapid downward closure of the upper jaw upon the toy surfboard to provide a game play finale.

Abstract:

A game housing supports a liquid crystal display having a plurality of liquid crystal display elements therein together with a processor and sound circuit. A plurality of switches simulating the operations of making cookies are operative upon the game housing. These switches include a simulated cookie batter stirring handle together with a simulated roller. Further, the switches include simulated cookie cutters having different shapes. In operation, the manipulation of the simulated cookie batter stirring element produces display images corresponding thereto. Similarly, manipulation of the roller causes a different image to be displayed. Finally, pressing any of the cookie cutter switches causes the corresponding shapes to be display upon the liquid crystal display.

Abstract:

The embodiments provides an improved tungsten silicide etching process with reduced etch rate micro-loading effect. In one embodiment, a method for etching a layer formed on a substrate is provided. The method includes providing a substrate into a plasma processing chamber, the substrate having a metal silicide layer formed thereon and a patterned mask defined over the metal silicide layer. The method also includes supplying an etching gas mixture of a fluorine-containing gas, a chlorine-containing gas, a nitrogen-containing gas, and an oxygen-containing gas to the plasma processing chamber, wherein the ratio of the nitrogen-containing gas to the fluorine-containing gas is between about 5 to about 15. In addition, the method includes generating a plasma in the plasma processing chamber using the supplied etching gas mixture to etch the metal silicide layer in regions not covered by the patterned mask, the patterned mask defining dense regions and isolated regions, wherein the generated plasma is configured to remove the metal silicide layer in the dense regions and the isolated regions at a reduced etch rate micro-loading.

A refractory composite article includes a plurality of continuous, polycrystalline stoichiometric silicon carbide reinforcing fibers in an inhibited carbon matrix; the carbon matrix is an organic resin containing an inhibitor compound that has been subjected to carbonization and thereafter to densification by chemical vapor infiltration of at least carbon to form a silicon carbide fiber reinforced carbon composite; and the silicon carbide fiber reinforced carbon composite is coated with a SiC pack cementation coating to form the refractory composite. A generally cylindrical base defines a bottom supporting surface securable by suction cup attachment to a table top or the like. The base defines an interior reservoir and is hingedly joined to a pivotable cover. The cover supports a rotating element and an upwardly directed spray nozzle.
