Health problems could arise with climate change, Alaska officials warn
"Our hope is that communities and decision-makers could look through the document, see what applies to their jurisdiction and develop their own assessment of that health impacts may result," health specialist Sarah Yoder said.

State releases report on negative health impacts of climate change
While there were analyses of the potential health impacts of climate change in certain Alaska communities, a detailed statewide report did not exist, said Sarah Yoder, lead author of the report and a public health specialist in the Environmental Public Health Program at the department.
