Abstract:
A graphical user interface for displaying at least two search results from a plurality of search results identified during a network based search. The graphical user interface includes a first window configured to display a first web page that is associated with a first search result of the plurality of search results. In the first window displaying the first web page, a user may independently scroll through and view content contained thereon. The GUI further includes a second window configured to display a second web page that is associated with a second search result of the plurality of search results. In the second window, the user may also independently scroll through and view content contained on the second web page. By simultaneous viewing of multiple websites, the user can easily decide whether to further their search and click through to the corresponding website.

Abstract:
A method () and system () for enabling consumer-creators to create advertisements on behalf of advertisers on an electronic network includes the uploading or creating () of an ad on a given website by a consumer-creator and offering () the ad to advertisers or publishers or visitors for presentation on various medium (electronic or otherwise) where the ad can be available on the given website or linked to the given website from another website. The method can enable () the selection of an ad (that has been uploaded or created by the consumer-creator) by an advertiser or a publisher or visitor. The method can also broker () a relationship among the consumer-creator, visitor, advertiser, or publisher. The method can also track () usage of the ad and automatically enable () payment for the use of the ad based on the relationship brokered and the use tracked of the ad.

Electromagnetic Wave, Reflective Type, Low Cost, Active Proximity Sensor For Harsh Environments

Assignee:
Eaton Corporation - Cleveland OH
International Classification:
G01R27/00
US Classification:

Abstract:
An electromagnetic, reflective type, active proximity sensor includes a transmitter, the transmitter including a voltage controlled oscillator circuit, a transmitter circular waveguide and a transmitter polarization circuit. The voltage controlled oscillator circuit generates an output signal which is modulated such that the frequency of the output signal varies over time between a range of frequencies. The frequency varying, output signal is provided to the transmitter circular waveguide and propagated to the transmitter polarization circuit where it is circularly polarized in a first circular direction. The circularly polarized, frequency varying, output signal is radiated by the transmitter to the target, where it strikes the target and reflects back toward the sensor to form return signals. The return signals, upon being reflected, rotate in a second circular direction opposite to the first circular direction. The return signals also respectively exhibit one of the frequencies corresponding to the range of frequencies associated with the circularly polarized, frequency varying, output signal.

Abstract:
A coaxial-to-coplanar waveguide connector is used for interconnecting stripline compatible devices utilizing coaxial cable. The connector is formed at the end of a length of coaxial cable embedded within a circuit board. The connector generally has a substantially semi-circular connection section. The connection section includes a conductor partly surrounded by an electrically insulative dielectric which is partly surrounded by a shield. An electrically conductive sheet is used to couple the shield to a ground plane of the circuit board. Electrically conductive ribbon is connect the conductor to a stripline compatible device. The coaxial-to-coplanar waveguide connector may be fabricated by coating a dielectric board with an adhesive material and then routing a length of miniature coaxial cable in the adhesive. Conductive material and dielectric material are consecutively laid upon the dielectric cable board. A portion of the board including a section of miniature coaxial cable is milled so as to remove a top portion of the cable.
