Description:
Shannon Todd was only a teenager when his Dad taught him a lesson about life that he would never forget. His Dad was always a frugal man and went without many things so that he could provide for his family and pay his bills and then save some as well. So when his Dad threw a party to burn the mortgage that had been paid off on the family home, he told Shannon never to forget that day. Shannon hasn't forgotten that day. He has made those principles of managing your money a part of how he lives his life, and the lessons he is teaching his children. He also weaves those principles into how he is helping others with real estate investing.Raised with strong family values in the small farming town of Carrollton, Missouri, Shannon had his first job at thirteen, as well as many other jobs throughout his growing up years. He made the decision to put aside seventy five percent of everything he made so that he could achieve his dream of going to college. In 1996 he graduated from Missouri State University with a degree in Biology focusing on animals, and birds. He then worked at the World Bird Sanctuary in St. Louis, the Denver Zoo, and the Springfield Dickerson Park Zoo. Soon afterward, he married and they bought their first home and proudly expanded their family with a daughter, and a son. However, after buying his first home, there was a spark of interest that grew into a real enthusiasm about the real estate profession. Today he is passionate about how he can help people with such an important process. It's pretty simple to Shannon. The home is the centerpiece of a great life. In his family, so many nights are shared in the kitchen with his family reading recipes, chopping vegetables, talking, and showing little hands how much fun it can be measuring ingredients or snuggling on the couch to read a book before bedtime. There is always a lesson in each experience he has with his young children. Whether it's in the kitchen, or on an early morning hike to bird-watch, or running a 5k race with his daughter, he is all about sharing life to the fullest with his family as they build memories together.Shannon will always remember how important a home was growing up and how important it is to his family today. He wants to help you find not only a home but a sound real estate investment. Call him to start taking the steps toward a future you'll never regret. Nothing is more important.
