It was Stacy Barrett, mother of Ohio State quarterback J.T. Barrett. She used the nickname for Haskins that her son bestowed upon him on his arrival in Columbus. J.T. calls all of the Buckeyes quarterbacks by different names. It's weird. That's not the point.

DUI charge dropped for man who tested positive for caffeine

How Ohio State quarterback JT Barrett became an accidental star
h Stacy and Joe Barrett spent time in the Army, with Joe serving everywhere from Georgia to Korea. They settled the family in Wichita Falls when J.T. was 2 so the boys could have a stable childhood. Stacy Barrett works as a hospice nurse, after taking nursing classes while J.T. was in high school.recalls his brother losing at Madden football to a friend, borrowing the game and playing it until 5 a.m. The next time they played, J.T. crushed him. Stacy Barrett smiles as the story is re-told: "I can understand it because once they started beating me at Connect Four, I stopped playing with them."
