Steve McDonald received his B.A. and M.A. from Florida State University. While completing his Masters degree in Corporate Communication, he served as the Student Government President of the Florida State University Panama City Campus. He currently serves on the board of directors for both the Gallatin Chamber of Commerce and the United Chambers of Sumner County and received the Gallatin Chamber of Commerce 2003 Ambassador of the Year Award. He is also a member of the Gallatin Lion's Club and participates in the annual Minstrel Show Choir. Steve also has a passion for education and is a professor at Lipscomb University, a private southeastern liberal arts university, where he is a professor in the Department of Communication
