Abstract:

A method and apparatus for detecting objects around a vehicle, comprising a plurality of microwave-transceiver sensors for transmitting microwave signals to reflect off objects around the vehicle. The reflected signals are received and passed to a control unit for comparing the received signal to a transmitted signal to determine whether a detected object constitutes a threat to the moving vehicle. An alarm means is connected to the control unit and activates upon the receipt of an alarm signal when the control unit determines a detected object constitutes a threat to the vehicle.

Abstract:

A vehicle roof fan for providing air conditioning to a user of a vehicle. The vehicle roof fan may include a plurality of individually controlled fans. The apparatus includes power management features to limit the power consumption, such as a user presence detector and/or battery threshold monitoring. The plurality of fans may be associated with one or more optical sensors that each control the operation of one or more of the fans based upon the presence of a user. The air conditioning apparatus may also include heating and/or cooling components to modify the air temperature from the apparatus.

Abstract:

A flexible airflow system providing customizable components for mounting, directing airflow and/or modifying airflow. The system may include a dual fan apparatus for providing heated or cooled air which is compact fit within limited spaces. The dual fan apparatus includes two axial fans on opposing sides of a thermal exchange component which operate in coordination to move air in one direction at a time through the apparatus. The dual fan apparatus increases airflow and thermal transfer efficiency through the thermal exchange component. The system may also include a flexible bracket system and/or a flexible ventilation system to facilitate custom configurations for the airflow system.
