The present invention relates to pellets comprising one or more active ingredients; and either one or both of: (a) one or more binders incorporated within the body of the pellet; and (b) one or more coating materials on the surface of the pellet; characterized in that either one or both of the binders and the coating materials comprise one or more polymers with a Tg in the range -85 to +35ÂC. , and, optionally, wherein the coating and/or binder materials comprise at least one multi-phase polymer and further wherein at least one of the phases of the multi-phase polymer has a Tg in the range -85 to +35Â C.
Polymer compositions derived from selected monoethylenically unsaturated (C -C )carboxylic acid monomers, (C -C )alkyl (meth)acrylate ester monomers and alkoxylated (meth)acrylate monomers used in certain weight ratios to provide enhanced detergent and cleaning performance are disclosed. Polymer compositions containing from 5 to 40% of monoethylenically unsaturated (C -C )carboxylic acid monomer, from 35 to 65% of (C -C )alkyl (meth)acrylate ester monomer and from 20 to 60% of alkoxylated (meth)acrylate monomer provide improved cleaning performance in laundry detergent formulations relative to conventional polymer compositions.
A process for preparing an aqueous emulsion polymer including providing at least one ethylenically unsaturated monomer and a free radical redox initiator system under emulsion polymerization conditions, the redox initiator system including an oxidant; a reductant and a metal promoter complex, and effecting the polymerization of at least some of the ethylenically unsaturated monomer is provided. Also provided is a process for reducing the residual ethylenically unsaturated monomer content of an aqueous emulsion polymer.

Abstract:
A composition for retaining active ingredients in personal care compositions is described based on one or more polymers having a network structure in an oil phase in amounts from 0. 01 to 10% by weight based on the total weight of the composition in the oil phase, the polymers including at least one associative agent, the composition further including at least one active component. The oil phase viscosity of each composition is at least 10 poise under a shear stress up to 1000 dynes/cm.

Abstract:
The invention relates to a fluoropolymer coating composition that can be used, for example, in coating electrodes and/or separators in electrochemical devices. The fluoropolymer coating composition preferably contains multiple fluoropolymer phases. The coated electrodes and/or separators have both excellent wet adhesion, excellent dry adhesion, and low leachables. Each of the fluoropolymer phases contains polymers having at least 10 weight percent, of a common fluoromonomer, making the polymer phases compatible with each other, and allowing for the phases to be distributed fairly homogeneously on a macroscopic level throughout the composition and dried coating formed from the composition.
