Education:
Oregon State University 2007 - 2009
MSECE, Electrical and Computer EngineeringGPA: 3.86
Significant Projects:
Fault Studies Analysis (Energy Generation) - Performed a fault analysis with MATLAB and Power World Simulator (in p.u. and amps) for the development of a positive, negative and zero sequence networks as well as a bus admittance and impedance matrix.
Gain Amplifier for a 15-bit 50MHz Two-Step ADC (Analog Design) - Developed a fully differential feedback operational trans-conductance amplifier (OTA) used to generate the residue for a second stage of a two-step analog-to-digital converter (ADC) with a voltage supply of 1.8v. Achievements of design consist of 9.9ns settling time, peak SNR 70dB, 112dB open-loop gain, 1.5GHz UGBW, and 78.5 degree PM.
CMOS Operational Amplifier (Analog Design) - With the utilization of the BSIM3 model, I designed a two-stage single ended CMOS Operational Amplifier with Miller compensation to achieve an open loop gain near 75 dB, a unity-gain frequency near 80 GHz and a phase margin near 65 deg.
Oregon State University 2002 - 2007
BSEE, Electrical EngineeringGPA: 3.42
Significant Projects:
Senior Project Design (Energy Generation) - Designed a power generation system that harnesses the energy of wind and utilizes it to power all the electronics necessary for a self-powered data acquisition station.
Electronic Throttle Body (Control Systems Design) - Designed a closed loop feedback control system for an electronic throttle body to stabilize and control the transient response.
Audio Amplifier (Analog Design) - Designed a multi-stage audio amplifier to directly drive an 8-ohm speaker from a high impedance microphone. Simulated the waveform results with PSPICE to show the mid-band gain and -3dB cutoff frequencies.
Filtering and Encoding/Decoding Analysis (Digital Signal Processing Design) - Designed a series of filters to separate different voices and sounds from a single WAV file. Developed an image de-blurring tool, with MATLAB, to focus the picture as well as a tool to reveal hidden information concealed within image.
