Missing mom from Staten Island found dead in Turkey: Report
Steven Sierra sobbed in a phone call with CNN on Saturday as he waited to identify his wifes body in Istanbul. The slain woman had kept in regular contact with her friends and family back home, video chatting with her husband and parents and posting photos on Instagram.

Report: Body of missing New York City mom found in Turkey
Sierras husband, Steven Sierra, said she stayed in close touch with him and their children, ages 9 and 11, by phone and by Skype. After she didnt arrive at the airport as planned, Steven Sierra and his brother-in-law David Jimenez booked one-way tickets to Turkey to look for her.
"It was her first time outside of the United States, and every day while she was there she pretty much kept in contact with us, letting us know what she was up to, where she was going, whether it be through texting or whether it be through video chat, she was touching base with us," Steven Sierra to

Some people she met through the service encouraged her to visit the ancient Turkish city, her husband said. They offered to act as tour guides. "You're admiring pictures, but you're getting acquainted with people that you've never met before," Steven Sierra said.
