My job is fascinating. The real estate business has taught me to be unafraid to ask, that negotiation is not to be used as a weapon, that a different point of view is not wrong, that people really don't always know what defects their home possesses, that it is always foolish to condemn the other person, that all problems are resolvable until a client says it isn't, that I don't know everything, that my experience can be invaluable, that oftentimes the client has the best solution, that it is always wise to take time to cool off rather than allow tempers to boil over and that nothing replaces respect when communicating with another human being. It's fun meeting people from everywhere, doing different types of work and allowing me a little space in their lives to be a part of such a significant part of life - home. I like it!
