I am the third generation of a family who moved to New York from South Carolina. My grandmother worked hard and saved money to purchase property in order to provide security, equity and income for her entire family. Through her diligence she taught the generation that followed the value of investing in real estate. All of the family members proceeded to buy properties and creatively generate income from them. My mother invested in houses and condos and taught her daughters the importance of diversifying investments. I have learned some valuable lessons in selling, buying and managing property from my family as well as becoming a licensed real estate agent. I have also had an extensive career in social services as I am committed to service and have worked with every population in need of assistance.
