Amorphous polymers with chromogenic pendant groups are provided. The amorphous polymers can be used to make elastomeric films and coatings that can be incorporated into laminates and used to make articles such as architectural and vehicular glazing, and in applications such as eyewear, displays and signage.
Disclosed herein are functionalized polymers comprising ethylene and substituted ethylene segments. These functionalized polymers are useful as film forming resins in cathodic electrocoating compositions. Also disclosed herein are aqueous dispersion compositions comprising the functionalized polymers and a process for coating various electrically conductive substrates.

Abstract:
The present invention is directed to electrochromic electrolyte polymer blends. These blends comprise an amorphous polymer and an electrochromophore component. The electrochromophore component comprises a polyalkylene polymer copolymerized with an electrochromic moiety. The blends can be used to make elastomeric films and coatings that can be used in laminates, which can be used to form manufactured articles such as architectural and vehicular glazing, eyewear, displays and signage.

Abstract:
Disclosed herein is a process for making functionalized polymers comprising ethylene and substituted ethylene segments. The process comprises combining a starting copolymer as a solid with at least one amine-containing compound. The functionalized polymers are useful as film forming resins in cathodic electrocoating compositions.
Polyimide Resins For High Temperature Wear Applications
Polyimide resin compositions that contain an end-capped rigid aromatic polyimide, graphite and carbon filaments are found to exhibit low wear at high temperatures. Such compositions are especially useful in molded articles that are exposed to wear conditions at high temperatures such as aircraft engine parts.

Abstract:
Disclosed herein are functionalized polymers comprising ethylene and substituted ethylene segments, which have been crosslinked using a multifunctional thiol to enhance their crosslinking ability. These functionalized polymers are useful as film forming resins in cathodic electrocoating compositions. Also disclosed herein are aqueous dispersion compositions comprising the functionalized polymers and a process for coating various electrically conductive substrates.
Disclosed herein are functionalized polymers comprising ethylene and substituted ethylene segments, which have been modified by epoxidation to enhance their crosslinking ability. These functionalized polymers are useful as film forming resins in cathodic electrocoating compositions. Also disclosed herein are aqueous dispersion compositions comprising the functionalized polymers and a process for coating various electrically conductive substrates.
