About:

I decided to move to Wilmington in 2003, having grown up in Asheville, NC, and living in many areas of the country as an adult. Wilmington provided me with all my desires – close to several beaches, the luxury of having a historic downtown with theatre, arts and fine restaurants, and that illusive Southern hospitality mixed with a peppering of new faces from all over our great country. I found that I could take a walk on the beach in the morning, play golf in the afternoon and go “shag” dancing at night (yep, I’m a GRITS and it’s in our blood!) I love to cook, read and play with our pets – a Scottie, a Bichon and our canine tolerate kitty. I have 2 degrees, one in Interior Design and one in Education. I enjoyed my experiences in residential design while living in California, then switching to commerical design when ending up in Norfolk VA. While raising my daughter, I spent 15 years as an art educator in middle school, which gave me the ability to have the same schedule. Being a Realtor allows me to continue to be an educator and a learner and continue one of my favorite pastimes – meeting new friends. Finding the right home for you is a priority for me. And while wearing my "design hat", I look at each home for the potential to make it shine and can help with the professionals one may need to get it sale ready. I have had the opportunity of working with many wonderful people having lived in California, Pennsylvania, Delaware, Virginia, South Carolina and back home in NC and continue to enjoy getting to know my clients as friends.
