A target scoring apparatus for detecting hits on a target regardless of location of the hits and inhibiting the effect of hits on the target holder assembly which includes the location of a sensor on the target holder assembly to inhibit the signal which may be generated from the target sensor from being recorded on the recording device when the target holder assembly is hit.

Abstract:

An improved ventilation method and ventilation system for shooting ranges in which the conventional ventilation system of the shooting range is supplemented by the addition of air in the shooting stall intermediate the shooter's face and weapon. Preferably, the direction of the supplemental air flow is at an angle to the shooter and toward the target area to remove contaminants away from the shooting stall and downrange of the shooter.

Abstract:

A hit indicating system for a multiple target shooting range including individual normally closed impact sensor switches associated with each target and a conductor connecting each of the impact sensors in a series array. Discrimination and logic circuitry are provided for discriminating between hits and "friend" and "foe" targets and for indicating which one of several "friend" or "foe" targets has been struck when the system is used in a night fight simulation mode.

Abstract:

A temperature warning device for monitoring the temperature of an article and for providing a dependable signal that a preselected temperature has been reached. The device includes an axially extending bore into which a heat responsive element, a driver, and a sensing indicator are arranged. The bore is normally sealed by a closure plug to prevent failure due to contaminants. Upon reaching a preselected temperature the element exerts force against the driver which in turn forcibly removes the closure plug, exposing the indicator.
