Bragging Rights:
I am a mom to 6..., "Nala" to my grandkids and adore my stepson and his family. I was raised by strong, wonderful women...both those by relation, my "church mother-women" and strong Southern females who hold a very special place in my heart. I am a member of the Davidson DNA Project (family#4) and have a very interesting family tree. I am proud of my Scots heritage and proud of my children. I loved teaching music and working with those struggling with behavior and emotionally disfavors or other handicaps. I spent my childhood in St. Louis where my mother was a locally known singer on the radio and other venues throughout the midwest and the south during the 1950's to the early 1970's. (I could tell some stories, OMG!) I am a cancer survivor and live with the rare and odd diseases and afflictions that some with surviving chemo, radiation and just the day to day "BS" of life with cancer and it's aftermath. When I was a little girl, I wanted to be Leonard Bernstein (not just a music conductor, which I wanted to be,no...I wanted to BE Leonard Bernstein). I am now a fulltime caretaker for my 83 year old father who is living with respiratory diseases and severe dementia. Music and my kids are my passion...as are men in kilts and Jimmy Page (just saying! :})
