A gutter protection and ladder support apparatus includes a ladder securing apparatus and a plate section. The plate section has a plate surface that is bent to form a first face member and a second face member. The first face member is formed at an angle from the plate surface. The ladder securing apparatus is connected to the plate section and is configured to secure a ladder against the plate section. The ladder securing apparatus is adjustable for selective fastening of the ladder to the plate section.
A safety suit including a torso portion and a ring anchor. The torso portion includes a front portion, a back portion and fibers that run vertically through the torso portion. The ring anchor is disposed on the back portion and the fibers are attached to the ring anchor. The fibers extend away from the ring anchor into arm portions and/or leg portions connected to the torso portion.
A waste removal system is provided that includes a pipe structure of a building and a portable waste receptacle. The pipe structure has an end that forms a roof vent and another end opening toward a sewer. The portable waste receptacle is in removable fluid communication with the pipe structure of the building structure via the roof vent. The system optionally includes a privacy apparatus that has a curtain capable of at least partially surrounding the waste removal device.
An adjustable roofing safety system is provided which adapted to prevent materials, supplies, tools and workmen performing roofing operations on high-pitched roofs from falling over the edge, protecting both individuals on the roof and individuals who happen to be positioned at levels lower than the edge of the roof from being injured. A work platform and material wrapper for a supply of tiles or shingles is provided. The work platform includes an underlying base and an upright member. The base is for supporting the supply and has a front side, a top surface and a bottom surface. The bottom surface is disposed intermediate of the front side and the top surface. The upright member extends from an end of the front side. The base and the upright member form a storage bay configured to support the supply in a substantially horizontal position away from the roof surface. The material wrapper includes a midsection and four or more branches. Each branch includes a base connected to the midsection and a top flap connected to the base opposite the midsection. The base further includes at least one side flap configured and arranged to mate with an adjacent side flap on an adjacent base.
A shingle repair patch is provided that may include a base member and granules as discussed in detail above. An adhesive strip is positioned proximate an upper edge on the underside of the base member, or elsewhere on the underside of the base member. The adhesive strip preferably permanently bonds a rigid lip to the base member. The rigid lip preferably extends beyond the upper edge of the base member. An adhesive strip may be positioned on at least a portion of the bottom side of the rigid lip. Release tape is temporarily affixed to the adhesive strip. The adhesive strip is composed of an adhesive that adheres securely without an extended or heat-induced cure period. Standard adhesive may be applied to the remainder of the bottom of the base member, or further adhesive like that found in the adhesive strip may be applied to the remainder of the bottom of the base member.
A gutter protection and ladder support and safety apparatus includes a mechanism structured and arranged to be releaseably positioned in a gutter to prevent damage thereto caused by a ladder. The apparatus includes a mechanism for locking the apparatus in place to prevent lateral tipping and slippage of a ladder, a ladder supporting member operatively connected to the locking mechanism, and an adjustable ladder securing apparatus connected to the ladder supporting member and configured to releaseably secure a ladder thereto.
